New Moon 4 Libra 00 September 27 to October 26—When the Sun moves through the sign of Libra the days and nights are equal in length and September 23rd the Sun entered Libra marking the Vernal/Autumnal Equinox.

The Sun in Libra marks a time when our attention may be consumed by the needs of another or a new attraction. If you are single, this could be the month for you to seek a new relationship through one of the web’s dating sites with Uranus favoring Mars in Leo. With this New Moon opposing Uranus and square Pluto in Capricorn you may feel you need some distance from someone or others in general. If you are involved in a committed relationship, it may go through a change where you each decide go your separate ways. This will only happen in a relationship which is no longer working for you because when Uranus takes someone out of your life it is to bring you someone better in the future and/or to improve your life.

The main idea here is that you are in a phase this month of becoming very clear about what you need in a personal committed relationship and what type of people you need and want in your life now and for your future. You are seeing the truth of others this month which will help you receive the guidance and clarity you need on this level. My nephew has a great way of looking at someone when confused. He says to himself, “Do I want this person on my bus or not?’ It can help you to let go of a difficult person or someone who has hurt you or to decide to move forward with someone even if there has been some difficulty.

On the flip side of this, Venus, the planet of love and relationships, is conjunct Saturn. This can bring to fruition a commitment in a good relationship. In fact, if you are in a good relationship, your relationship deepens as well as your commitment to one another. This is also a good time to deepen your commitment to all those who are close to you in your life and you care about such as your cherished friends, family and business contacts. Let others know how important they are to you. With Venus and Saturn conjunct, people are more sensitive to slights, easily hurt and more difficult to please so keep this in mind when dealing with others personally and professionally. Little kindnesses will go a long way this month.

For others who have a business depending on customers, clients or patients, this is a good month for putting more energy into ways of making connections with your customer base to increase your business. With Uranus favoring Mars update your computer, computer skills, web expertise and technological savvy.

Try to avoid conflicts with others this month. Avoid people who are controlling and avoid trying to control situations and people around you. Be prepared for people to be a bit unpredictable and difficult to pin down. One minute they say yes and then change their mind with Mercury and the New Moon opposing Uranus in Aries and square Pluto. People want to make changes now! In fact, change is in the air. As much as change is needed and desired it creates a sense of uneasiness because of an unknown future and outcome relating to current events both in our personal lives and in the world.

Uranus square Pluto is the big story in the planetary aspects this month marking a turning point.. When Uranus entered Aires we began to feel this influence and it will be in effect through October 2012. The New Moon in early Libra on September 27 activated this influence through late October 2011.

Everyone is feeling change in the air and it can be a bit unsettling. Of all the aspects in the zodiac this is one of the most drastic and upsetting ones. It is a highly charged emotional involvement or experience which can take one close to the brink of a nervous breakdown. This may be especially felt by those whose Sun, Moon, or Ascendant falls in the signs of Scorpio and Aquarius. Uranus square Pluto brings a sudden turn of events which has been developing for a long time. This influence can bring a sudden unexpected disaster where one must rebuild a home or business and has to start over again. Perhaps this occurs through an “Act of God” or through the devastating effects of a tornado, lightning, floods, fire, or heavy windstorm damage.

Unexpected trouble occurs through the world economy affecting our personal finances. What is happening in the world which affects the masses ends up affecting you and me in that there could be difficulty in meeting one’s debts or in collecting what is owed to you. We begin to realize in very tangible ways our interconnectedness.

The main idea here is that we are in a dynamic time where the world is at a turning point with the economy and the environment. Personally, we may each be feeling that life is not going to continue as it has. Where we have been off track, higher forces are taking the reins and saying to each of us ‘if you don’t make the changes you need to make, we, a higher force, will’. So look at your individual charts and see where Uranus at 2—7 Aries and Pluto at 4—7 Capricorn fall in your chart. Especially look to Pluto’s house location and where it rules to tell you of the possible unexpected event and/or where a turning point will occur. This could actually work out well in the end even though the present is difficult. It is important to look squarely at the houses involved and take responsibility for those areas and make any changes that you can to improve those areas. Remember, Uranus is involved. He will release you and the world from stagnant conditions bringing in a breath of fresh air and better conditions when the dust has settled. You can minimize problems associated with this influence by being focused, taking responsibility for the matters of your Capricorn house and taking control where Pluto 4-7 Capricorn is transiting.

Full Moon at 18 Aries 25 on October 11, 2011 at 10:06 pm EDT—This Full Moon is in effect until November 10, 2011. The lunations falling across Libra and Aries since last September 27th says that until the Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd that we are concerned about relationships. This is true rather you are in a relationship or not and whether you want to be or not, and no matter your choices in this regard, you are realizing that you do need others and that what you do and what others do affects us all.

This is an important month for vibrational changes. This is the month that Mayan Calendar completes a 16.4 billion year cycle marking a period of evolution of consciousness coinciding with the age of our universe. We are moving from duality to unity, and into a dimensional shift of universal consciousness. This means that you are able to operate and communicate from and with a higher level of consciousness than previously. Learning how to effectively connect and communicate with a higher level of intelligence requires that you come from a higher place within yourself, a higher state of consciousness. To do this may require a greater level of perfection and purity. Saint Teresa of Avila says that to achieve this type of communication you must prepare yourself through the development of the virtues and especially the virtues of love, humility and detachment. As you are able to develop these virtues, you are able to let go of all things which do not agree with that next higher level releasing the blocks to it through detachment and that you operate totally through love and from a place of love.

The Full Moon in Aries can give the courage to embark on a higher path so that you can reach heights in your consciousness and on your path that you have not done before. Full Moons can bring changes and in Aries a change resulting in a new door opening for you and opening up new levels of higher consciousness resulting in communication with the divine. But it takes courage to let go of what stands in your way of accomplishing this but the energy is there now to do it. So ask yourself where in your life do you need to be courageous and where are you willing to do something new and different. In your chart, you can look at where 18 Aries falls for the answer and in the evening review your day and what happened good or bad and consider how you handled it, even in your thoughts.

October 26 there is a New Moon at 3 Scorpio 03 which will be in effect until November 25th. This is the time for planting new seeds and beginning something new. It is a time of a new burst of energy in the area of your chart where this New Moon falls. From this New Moon to the Full Moon on November 10th it is a time of growth and expansion.

With both Venus and Mercury in Scorpio you are asked to bring passion into your relationships and endeavors and to be in touch with your feelings and emotions. In fact, Mercury entered Scorpio on October 13th where it remains until November 1st. Mercury in Scorpio helps you dig deep and find the answers you need. Venus in Scorpio October 8—November 1 allows you to get in touch with your deepest feelings and to feel things deeply. It allows you to overcome the attractions which hurt and block you and this is an opportunity, through self-discipline, to rise above and release some aspect of the dark side of your nature; to release desires, attractions and habits that don’t work for your highest good.

On this New Moon in Scorpio ask yourself what you need to do to bring passion and desire back into your life in order to transform and renew it.

With Neptune retrograde in Aquarius conjunct Chiron at 0 Pisces you are seeking a true healing in body, mind and spirit. Imagine, meditate and pray for this.

The end of October is when many cultures celebrate in honor of those who have died. The Mexicans and Peruvians communicate with deceased relatives during the Days of the Dead and the Christians celebrate all Hallows Eve on October 31st as the Day before All Saints Day on November 1st. Halloween is also about honoring what is no longer alive in your life or world and giving gratitude for what you have rather than mourning for not having it anymore.

Sun Sign Forecast for October

Aries—You have been caught up in the Uranus/Pluto square causing blocks and delays professionally and in pursuing your goals all due to circumstances beyond your control. October 11-26 you will have an opportunity to get things on track in your life and to enjoy yourself. You will feel all fired up about something or someone and if so, go for it! Don’t go it alone this month and seek professional help or guidance, if you need to. An important person could enter your life in the form of a teacher. Pursuing a spiritual path, taking a class, going on a trip and contacting someone at a distance are all favored. The key phrase for Aries is I AM. This month you will do best thinking of others first and moving into a WE consciousness and by compromising when appropriate.

Taurus—With transiting Jupiter in your sign now through June 2012, you are blessed, protected and divinely guided. For the next three years you have a great window of opportunity where you are prosperous, people gift you and they are generous with you, wanting to support you in your endeavors. Things see easy for you compared to others as Jupiter shines on you. September 27 to October 26 the New Moon in Libra places an emphasis on health, work and pets. During this period, Saturn is conjunct your Venus which is your chart ruler. This is a time when you are called on to mature and to take things more seriously than usual. You are challenged in a certain way to look at yourself and recreate yourself. Since Saturn rules your 9th House of spirituality, your spiritual outlook may be refined through an interaction with another with Venus in the sign of relationships. Cancer– There are five planets at the time of the September 27th New Moon in your 4th house placing an emphasis now through October on all the important areas of your life such as where you live, home, family and security; the 7th house of close personal relationships, customers, clients; and the 10th house of business, goals, a parent and authority figures. These areas are involved in a Cardinal T-Square indicating things have reached a point where decisions need to be made and action taken in order to avoid conflicts and overcome obstacles and blocks. This can be a very powerful time. It is important to be flexible and don’t hold on to people, places , things or circumstances that no longer work for you in your life. Friends and certain close relationships can be of great benefit to you.

Leo– With transiting Mars in your sign and the New Moon 4 Libra in your 3rd house, October should be a very busy time for you where you feel like you are always on the go or always on the phone. It is a good time to handle paper work and correspondence, to clean up your office, get the computer cleaned up and to get repairs done on the car. You have a lot of energy to accomplish things and now is the time when you will fight for what you want and you can show others what you are made of. As you go after what you want, just make sure you are sensitive to others so that you don’t alienate them.. Mars favoring Uranus brings in new experiences, new activities and new people. Mid September through October is a good travel time, and a good time for communication and study of all kinds.

Virgo—September 27 to October 26 the emphasis is on finances, opening new avenues of income and defining what is important to you. Since your ruler, Mercury, is in Libra this month, what may be on your mind is the pursuit of a relationship. After November 9th, the relationship area looks more promising through beginning February 2012 when Neptune could bring you your soul mate . If this does not happen, not to fret. Neptune ruling relationships for you is moving from Aquarius to Pisces in early 2012 where it will stay for the next 12 years. The challenge is for you to be discerning about people. Get to know someone well before you give them your heart and soul. Make sure they are the faithful type, don’t take on a rescue, and make sure they are available physically, mentally and emotionally and that they really are who they seem to be. With all this said, a soul mate relationship with deep love is possible for you beginning 2012 with Neptune’s new cycle. This is likely to be a time of attracting very creative, spiritual and religious people into your life. You are coming out of time when you have had a hard time committing to others yourself or your time. You have been very independent and certain relationships have dissolved and work relationships have been surrounded with chaos and misunderstandings. This is ending in March 2012.

Libra—The New Moon at 4 Libra in effect to the end of October signals a time of new beginnings. It is a time for focusing on yourself and how you want to present yourself to the world. Your ruler, Venus, is conjunct Saturn and favoring the Nodes of the Moon. Your strength this month lies in getting focused, keeping your feet on the ground, having a plan, being willing to work hard, being self-disciplined and through perseverance. If you are available, this could bring in a new romantic relationship or deepen a commitment within an existing one. The vibration of this New Moon is one of the teacher and you may find yourself in that role or attracting the teacher you need.

Scorpio—You have been going through some challenging times lately with your ruler Pluto square Uranus. It always seems there is a new crises to deal with and this involves family. It is very hard to set your schedules and be able to keep them as there is always something unexpected coming up. Saturn in your 12th house may have you concerned over your health, the health of your partner or other family member. During the past few years your partner has been facing certain challenges also in the work area in that they are either working longer hours or they are working less due to health issues or some other responsibility. Whatever is going on, Jupiter favoring you protects you and your partner and helps you both to overcome whatever may be presently challenging to you. Capricorn—You shine through your accomplishments. You are ambitious and you tend to work hard toward achieving your goals and objectives. September 27 through October 26 you will be focusing on your goals, career and possibly the needs of a parent. Your ruler Saturn has been going through the career sector of your chart indicating that you have been and will be defining what you want to do in the world and what goals you want to set for yourself. Your ruler Uranus is retrograde indicating that this is a time of going within and reviewing certain aspects of your life such as relationships, important decisions you made, career choices, etc. You may be in the process of realizing that certain relationships are never going to be what they once were. June through November 2011 a bond that had been quietly growing between you and another, without your realizing it, to be very helpful and supportive. With your ruler Uranus square Pluto now and through 2012, your whole life and life direction may be changing because of circumstances beyond your control. You have important decisions to make regarding your life’s direction. Pisces—With the New Moon at 4 Libra in your 8th house, October is a good month for catching up on any past due bills, working on insurance and tax matters and you may make a large purchase.
